Transcendent International, LLC is a leader in the development and delivery of innovative language solutions to bridge the language gap in healthcare. We provide a suite of products and services in over 100 languages, to government, healthcare, and social service agencies. Many of our projects are funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Given the growing diversity in the United States, it is becoming increasingly important to provide appropriate language services to people who do not speak English. Our dynamic team consists of experts in linguistics, anthropology, cross-cultural communication, health education as well as professionals in information technology, interactive design and multimedia production.

Position Description

We are seeking an individual with a background in Industrial Psychology, Organizational Management, Operational Efficiency or similar to assist the company’s efforts to improve efficiency and expand base of policy and procedural standards. The Project Management Intern will join the operations team, with duties including on the following:

•Lead the implementation of company-wide project management tools;

•Document and train staff regarding tool features, upgrades, etc.

•Assist with primary and secondary analyses of existing software options;

•Execute additional operational tasks as needed to support the department and company.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess the following qualifications:

•Outstanding organizational skills;

•Ability to understand the big picture and the details below it;

•Exceptional adaptability to new technologies;

•Stellar written and verbal communication skills;

•Experience working with at least one Project Management software (preferably more);

•BA, BS, or other advanced degree;

•Must be authorized to work in the US

The ideal applicant will also possess the following qualifications:

•Experience and/or a background in Project Management a plus;

•Experience with Grants or Grants Management preferred;

•Knowledge of or interest in issues of healthcare access is a plus, but not required.
